Hidden Tang Broach.

It is a workshop essential when making knives with a hidden tangs or integral bolster constructions, ideal for cutting the slot for the tang to fit into.

It works as a thick but narrow saw blade to cut between holes or to make a single hole rectangular.

Please be aware, these things are extremely SHARP – they cut flesh just as well as they cut wood!
