Premium Quench Oil is designed for rapid and controlled cooling of steel or other metals as part of the hardening and heat-treatment process.
PQ11 – FAST – Ideal for quenching Shallow Hardening steels. i.e. High Carbon steel & Carbon Damascus Steel, where a faster cooling rate is required.
PQ20 – MEDIUM – Ideal for quenching Deep Hardening Steels. i.e. High Carbon Stainless Steel & Alloy Carbon Steel, where a slower cooling rate is required. Like SAE5160, 52100 & Stainless Steel such as Bohler N690, Lohmann LO-R 4528, Sandvik Steel.
