Whether you forge or do stock removal, you will need an array of belts for your belt grinder, to speed up and streamline the knife-making process. We are your preferred abrasives supplier.

Ceramic belts are great for initial stock removal on any blade, as they are designed to take off material fast and efficiently.
Compact Grain belts to polish the blades.
Use Aluminium Oxide belts to grind and shape knife handles.

One thing to keep in mind is you can’t do everything on your grinder. You also need to polish the flats on a blade. Sheets of abrasive/sandpaper are available in different grits (#120-#2500). Ideal for your disc sander and for hand sanding.
