Gesswein® Moldmaker Plus EDM Stones
A premium complement to the Moldmaker series; this green silicon carbide abrasive is the hardest of the abrasive grits. These EDM stones are ideal for finishing stainless steel knife blades.
Produces a silky matte finish on all prehardened tool steels & stainless steels, from 28Rc SAE 4130 through 60Rc A2 and M2. Can also be used to rough out aluminum, beryllium, copper and kirksite.
Soft with faster breakdown characteristics than the standard Moldmaker stones.
Use Wet: Paraffin / Stoning Oil
Made in the USA. Available in various grits. Sold individually.
Handles for EDM stones also available on this website. Use BLUE for the Gesswein stones.

Gesswein® MOLDMAKER and MOLDMAKER PLUS Finishing Stones
A good choice for stoning contours and radii.
Mold and die polishing, grinding, tool sharpening, dressing of grinding and cutting wheels. Vitrified silicon carbide abrasives break down during use. The resulting dust is classified by OSHA as inert or nuisance dust. Data provided pertains primarily to the dust produced during and after use.
IMPORTANT: Hazards may change when this product is used in conjunction with solvents, cutting fluids or other chemicals.
