The Nickel Plated ball bearings are ideal for making canister Damascus / Mosaic Damascus. Further patterns can be made by adding Nickel Foil, and filling up the rest of the voids in the canister with 1085 or O1 powder steel, and then weld it together in a forge and using a proper press rather than a power hammer.
The result will be similar to that of the blade on the picture below.
Ideal for forging & making Dragon skin Damascus.
