SAE1085 POWDER Steel has carbon as the main alloying element within its chemical composition. It also contains up to 0.4% silicon and 1.2% manganese. In addition, the residual elements such as copper, molybdenum, aluminium, chromium and nickel are present in this steel.
When combined with nickel foil in a canister, it is ideal for forging & making mosaic Damascus.
