Tork Craft Cotton Unstitched Buff/Mop
Giving your knife a final touch, by buffing the handle, doing that mirror finish on a blade after all the scratches have been successfully polished out, or polishing a Damasteel blade.
Use any of our Marpol or Unipol buff soap.
- Always remember that a buff is a dangerous piece of equipment. Be sure to hold the object that you are polishing carefully, so it is not grabbed by the turning buff.
- Store the buff in a zip-lock bag or an airtight container to minimise contamination with unwanted dust particles that can put scratches on your workpiece.
IMPORTANT: USE A DEDICATED BUFF MOP FOR EACH GRIT

Description
Application:
Different metals have varying characteristics. To achieve the best possible result, it is essential that the correct compound and polishing buff is selected for the job.
The cutting compound should be used on a Sisal buff or stitched buff. A white stitched buff is ideal for cutting into metals. With the correct compound it will remove stretcher strains, orange peel, polishing wheel grit lines, light die marks etc.
An unstitched buff is used with polishing (finishing) compounds on metals. Each fold/leaf of material is approximately 1mm thick.
