Counterbore Drill Bits
Counterbore drills are used to make a counterbore hole in the material when the head of a fastener, such as a hex head or socket head cap screw, is required to be flush with or below the level of a workpiece’s surface. For a spot-face, material is removed from a surface to make it flat and smooth, usually for a fastener.
SOMTA Counterbore Drills are ideal for drilling holes in handle material to fit inter screws or pivot screws.
The 7mm x 5mm is the standard size for the INTERSCREWS also available on this website.

Description
Counterbore, or counterbore cutters, are drill bits used to make counterbore holes, which is a way of creating a flat-bottomed extension of an existing hole in a material. This allows the hole to accommodate flat-bottomed screws or bolts so that they sit flush to the surface of the material, rather than protruding, while still able to perform their function to the fullest.
