Rust-Oleum® Auto High Heat Spray Ceramic Coating is suitable as an anti-scale paint for knife blades, before heat treatment to protect from decarb. Colour supplied may vary. Flat Black / Flat Grey. RED has been discontinued by the manufacturer in the USA.For best results and easy removal after heat treatment, clean the blade with acetone, spray 2 coats at least 2 hours before you harden the blade. After hardening and tempering remove the paint with abrasive paper and water. (PS33 – P80 grit works well)
